I Should Be Considered For This Scholarship - 852 Words

I should be considered for this scholarship due to that as a result of my personal goals and qualities I seek to improve my campus and community and in ten years I hope to have radically improve my campus and self. This scholarship will assist me in affording an institution that will grow my mind and achieve my goals of inclusion and diversity. Rotary represents standing for the common good and improving one s community through leadership, which I also strive to accomplish. I have volunteered for over a hundred recorded hours throughout high school for multiple dog rescues and community projects, such as the River Rider’s Bike Share and many hours throughout middle school for my local cultural center. I volunteer not to generate hours for my diploma, rather because I enjoy assisting others and helping my community. Additionally to help my community, I strive to create inclusive environments that promote everyone’s voice to be listened to. I lead art club at Lincoln High School, promoting art, inclusion, and diversity. What I find most rewarding about my presidency is that I reopened the doors of Art Club for anyone who wants to join, regardless of conditions. For the past three years, the organization closed itself to those who would not or could not participate in the end of the year competition, Visual Arts Classic.
